The book preview reads promising... hopefully the powerful forces that are eating Ares from the inside is not the fallout from their weapon disaster (which was frankly bullshit).

Yeah Ares does have more than a few bugs to work out, or through. :P
Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

Nah. Still don't buy the idea that a faulty assault rifle line is able to bring Ares on its knees.

As Kincaid said, the Excalibur fiasco isn't what's hurting Ares. The Excalibur fiasco is simply a symptom of much larger problems. Although I have to agree, making it sound like it's just the Excalibur issue makes that sound much bigger than it actually is, and completely out of proportion to its actual importance.

I love the connotations of Excalibur, myself.  Manatech weapon attempt, went horribly wrong.  Ha-ha!

I like it.  It's not as over-the-top as several of other books, but it has a depth of detail that I find works really well with the simple layout.

I do love the cover.

How can you not love the image of a curving lightning bolt?

Granted it still missed, but that just means he is walking his spells. :P

The first posted pictures, did they make it into the book?

Thumbing through it I see the ork giving the finger to the exploding building but not the office escape scene.  It was a quick once-over, so I may have missed it.
