I'm part of a tabletop group that is looking into playing a Shadowrun game every other tuesday (alternating with Pathfinder, for which we already have an ongoing campaign). We generally play our games online using Roll20, and use Skype for voice chat during sessions. We do have a couple of players who haven't played Shadowrun before, although the more experienced members have been helping us get acquainted with the system.
We've yet to decide on a tone; however 3/5 of the characters (those which have been created and made known to the group) would not mesh well with a black trenchcoat campaign. Currently we are trending towards sum to 10 for character creation, as the 3 completed characters use it.
