Slobbertooth squeezed the trigger and fired a full burst from his Raiden resting a tripod towards the Orc armed with a grenade launcher.

He Orc was sent barreling over by a barrage of hardened gel, unconscious before he hit the ground.

"Grenade launcher down. One is looking your way"
Not expecting much, but do remember that I'm firing a suppressed weapon now under the cover of loud music and car security systems. No idea how those mechanics work.

Initiative: 4d6+13 31
Slobbertooth Full Auto Burst (Automatics 8(+2)+Agility 6+Smartlink 1+Aim 1) [9]: 18d6t5 6 = DV 17S AP -1

Target: Orc with Grenade Launcher.
Defense: N/A-9
Soak (Armor 9+Body 6 -1 AP): 14d6t5 4

Orc takes 13 stun, and I assume he is KOd

The Orc went down, covered in black goo from the assault rifle burst. The elf had just opened the door as he noticed his friend going down. Je was just about to say something when Mike's meaty fist reached through the gap and without ceremony grabbed the elf's head and slammed it against the door frame.

The human ganger turned around in a circle, not knowing how to react to the sudden assault, giving Slobber amply time to refocus his aim

Slobber wins Ini.

As the verbal exchange went down, Krestov kept himself icy, standing tall and imposing in the background, seemingly not paying much attention to the conversation at hand.  All the while though, he could feel the hairs on the back of his neck rising as things got heated.  He was about to interject, intervene to influence the conversation, when things surprisingly (to him at least) turned for the better with Flatline's insightful interjection, followed by Anna's wit to create a deal.

To him, it worked.  Not only did it secure the removal of another competitor for the property, but it doubly served as the means to handle removing the party from their ties after they were done with it.  Inspired...well done He thought, mentally grinning as the exchange continued.

Slobbertooth leaned into the rifle to swivel it towards the confused human ganger and took a split second to aim before unleashing a second torrent of gel.

The confused look was replaced by a scared look and after that by a load of gel gunk to the face.
And with that the small gang was done for. Mike carefully stuck his head inside, nodded and gave Slobber the thumbs up. With a quick pull he ripped the power cord from the wall socket and the music died.
"Seems like those boys just wanted to party. The boat looks like it isn't damaged. I'll go and get the car to hitch the trailer."

Now Crow looked definitely interested: "Well, well. Now that is an interesting idea. So you propose we prepare a contract, so you rent the property and give me a veto right on anyone you want to sublease. No need to transfer it - my niece would only have grounds to appeal the transaction.
That would spare us a lot of trouble with my niece and her damned lawyer husband.

Alright. If we do it like that, I won't move against Meteor and will allow you to give your bid unmolested. Let me just call my council paralegal and he can hammer out a contract."

"Excellent, then all that is left is the gift." Flatline reveals the bottle, "I hope you will indulge me grandfather, we only flew in last night, and our body clocks are still on African time.  'Good business should be sealed with good whiskey' is the saying in my family." He offers the bottle to Crow.

Crow shrugged: "A tiny sip can't hurt. I'll just call up the paralegal for the contract."
Crow took out his commlink and put on a decidedly old fashioned AR-glove as well as pretty outdated data glasses.
It took him almost a quarter of an hour, fumbling through his link and typing in the air. Finally, when the team were already beginning to wonder if the man had ever used those functions before, Flatline received a file called "Contract".
"It's just a preliminary thing, but it should be good enough for now. Now where have I put those whiskey glasses."

"Yeah well, I don't feel like joining a party with a whacked ganger toting a grenade launcher." Slobber left his perch and started shuffling the weapons away from their owners in case they woke up, and then started helping Mike hitch up the sub.

Flatline moved the contract along to bnc for any appropriate matrix shenanigans that may be necessary, "I have a girl in the car who handles that kind of thing.  When he get the glasses Flatline will pour a double for each of them, giving himself a bit more, "Since I am leaving you this fine bottle I hope you won't begrudge me an extra sip." then he passes the bottle and glass to Crow and raises a toast.

Crow returned the toast and said: "Don't mention it." After downing the drink he said: "Good stuff. But now you better leave, or you won't get your boat house either way."

In the Barrens:

Mike nodded: "Might be better if we take their toys away. I don't particularly like Johnny Threefingers, but he just has so much talent to get his grubby little fingers on advanced hardware that I'd hate to lose him as a contact. And I'm pretty sure that those guys are at least clever enough to know who gave away their address."

Justin ill thank his host and escort his assistant out.  Back in the car, he dropped the act for a second, "Not quite what we planned, but a good result nonetheless.  Looking to their hacker, "Are you into the properties environmental controls yet?"

While they're still in - in fact, while Crow is still working at it - bnc already investigates the contract thouroughly; both from the matrix side (although she doesn't assume that this creep would be able to cause any serious havoc) and from the legal side (although she is no expert on that matter at all). She's finished examining the whole thing before Crow is.
Anything interesting? I guess I can buy any hits I need for anything. I can even buy two hits on any knowledge skill related to Logic without having it ^^
bnc answers Flatline in a dry tone. "Yah, I totally ripped the whole system apart. I can open and close the garage gate all day long. Up and down again. 'part from this, there's no environmental control whatsoever.
Or do you mean the Mastersons' location?"
How is the matrix environment there?

You are on the Salish Sidhe Net here. No noise to speak of. The contract went to and came back from an SS government host - most likely to some sort of Agent or semi-intelligent Knowbot that can churn out a standard legalleze contract in seconds.

As far as bnc can see there is exactly what was just agreed upon in the contract:
SS won't veto Meteor. In turn Meteor agrees to submit any sub renters for review to the local government for approval. Also Meteor has to contact SS-Council first if they want to give back the lease or move it on.

Not a fan of taking the things they actually bought so that we can repay the guy who shot me in the chest, however ineffectually. I'll defer to your experience here, though.
