With impressive speed, bnc cracked the commlink that lay a half world away.
Copying the files was no more difficult than doing so from her own link.

From the data within she extracted a list of five other potential renters, including their commlink numbers:

- Charles Whitman, board member of Crashcart unlimited and fellow golfer, personal acquaintance of Tom Masterson. A very hot candidate to get the bid, lives in Seattle. Not married, but a womanizer.
- Anna Tschernenko, Russian painter and sculptor (Neo-Post-Post-Modernist style), eccentric and renowned for passionate (some would say intoxicated) displays at inappropriate moments. Lives in St. Petersburg. Has had multiple run ins with the police, has been charged with vandalism and assault against police officers.
- Blake Coleman, prosecuting attorney in Seattle, well connected with Knight Errant and Lone Star. Lives in Seattle. Has a very busy work live with very tight schedules.
- Joe Crow, Amerindian Shaman and resident on Council Island as part of the diplomatic corps. Might have a drinking problem.
- Lee Wong, high ranking Wuxing manager, Oxford educated and still enthusiastic rower. Lives in London. Strong believer in Feng Shui.

Krestov smiled as he saw the info board as it was being formed, tacking on his own translation protocols for his version to keep better track of the influx of information for his own reading.  Sighing, he pulled up his messenger to give a quick message to the decker.

<<@bnc: well done, malyutka.  No doubt you are capable to the others now :) >>

With that sent, the troll took a look around, things on his mind as he left the others more versed in intelligence to do the searching.  Instead, a thought had occurred as he stepped through into the garage, already finding the rigger at work organizing everything.  Pulling up a small AR window, he pulled up a file he had saved before loading it into a small datachip.  Clearing his throat, he got the woman's attention.

"Pardons.  Naming is Kite, da?  Here..."  He made sure not to step on anything as he offered the chip.  "Is my weight with and without gear.  Whenever work with vehicle specialists, am always asked.  Something about suspension and balance or something.  Hope this saves time..."

Josiah first went to speak to Mike about the team's equipment. "So what kgear do we already have on stock for breaking and entering and exiting a secured area discretely?

Slobbertooth was interested by Anna's offer to give them a look over in terms of disguise. "You wouldn't happen to have anything that would take care of these would you, short of grinding them down?," he said pointing his namesake tusks.

Anna looked at slober carefully and said "I can make them appear smaller, perception is a combination of many things and by controlling their coloration and perhaps making the rest of your face appear a little bit wider they would be perceived smaller."

Mike shrugged: "What do you need? I've got autopicks, card copiers, hardware tools, data taps, glove molders, micro welders and mono saws.
For disguise I've got synthskin face masks, a theatrical cosmetics kit and a smart wig, plus polychromic lenses.

I could get you some nanite paste, but it's not recommended to use them anymore."

As Devon examined the data in the white room he began brainstorming possibilities.

Absolutely the most dangerous opposition, but easiest to access.  We can set a girl on him, have her keep him occupied.  Or simply arrange transportation difficulties if we can find his house.

If she is still in St. Peterburg we can possibly delay or misdirect her flight and take her out of the equation.  Another possibility if she has warrants is to simply tip off the police.  Could be a hothead, easily to provoke in person.

- Blake Coleman, prosecuting attorney in Seattle, well connected with Knight Errant and Lone Star. Lives in Seattle. Has a very busy work live with very tight schedules.

Another we can definitely mess up with travel problems, or drop a credible death threat rumor, have him get overprotected by his own contacts.  Any run-ins with Natives that we could use?

Quote
- Joe Crow, Amerindian Shaman and resident on Council Island as part of the diplomatic corps. Might have a drinking problem.

Biggest problem, can't mess with his travel, may just have to outbid and outcharm him.  Get him drinking and let nature take it's course?  Maybe with something in a drink to heighten effects.

- Lee Wong, high ranking Wuxing manager, Oxford educated and still enthusiastic rower. Lives in London. Strong believer in Feng Shui.

Know little about Feng Shui, maybe use it against him.  Another problem traveler, he could be coming with hosts.

<<Feel free to add or critique guys, we need plans.>>

We should be careful not to take out too many of them. This would be suspicious. Two or three of them should actually arrive at the meeting.

My ideas on the topic:

 - Charles Whitman: I agree that a girl should take care of him. Maybe Anna? We should have a plan B for him, to be sure. I could havoc with his car, but I'm not really satisfied with the idea. Maybe we can send Slob to scare the heck outta him?

 - Anna Tschernenko: Maybe we can fake a crime and thus start an investigation that keeps her off? It should do to keep her a few days.

 - Blake Coleman: I propose we invite him to a meeting he can't possibly cancel. With a little more research and a nice hack here or there I should be able to distract him for the day.

 - Joe Crow: Let's just be nice with him and be more charming.

 - Lee Wong: I agree that we could hinder his journey. If not, he might be the second competitor we can afford to reach the island.

Anna said "I do not mind flirting a bit with Charles Whitman but he will not miss a million Nguyen deal just for an attractive lady, seduction may be the beginning of the plan but something else should happen in that plan that prevents him from arriving at the meeting. "

She also commented "With enough information, perhaps I can try and impersonate the other Anna in order to fool the security cameras somewhere. I just do not want to get to prison so, figure out..."

bnc sighs. "Carajo, Torrent, where the fuck are you?

Yeah, something definitely should happen. Maybe we shouldn't drug him. Since he is a personal acquaintance, they will talk to each other. We shouldn't risk rising suspicion.
What about we leave the seduction part be and prevent him from flying? If by some bastante malo bad luck there are serious traffic problems? I can fuck with cars, traffic lights, taxis, and so forth.
We shoudln't do anything pllump with that one.

Anna grinned and asked "What would Torrent do in that situation? Perhaps we can cover for his role with some of the new talent in this room"

"He was an adept who had the ability to change his facial features, color of skin, voice, basically everything. He would have done a wonderful job in faking one of the potential buyers."

Anna smirked  and then said "Well... I cannot be anyone but if some of the females are roughly my size, I am very good with disguises and what skill I have can be augmented with a dash of magic. I can also try and make one of the guys look like one of the the buyers altering skin and eye coloration, making someone look older or younger, even taller or shorter to a degree. It is all mundane cosmetic use and some basic props, like wigs face extensions and so forth."

Kite blinked and watched the big troll for a moment, then took the chip, slotting it in her commlink right away. She cracked a smile as she moved the file to her own AR display. “It is Kite, yes, though I guess maybe I should get used to ‘Naimsa Lei’ for now? Thank you, Mr. Kres-- er, King. This is worth considering.” She passes the information to her shop drones, who turn around to go re-check the suspension systems for each vehicle.
If Krestov lingers, Kite will happily make small talk with him while she works. If he has anything very important he’d like to say, she will halt her various projects to give him her full attention.
Mike chimed in: "From the sound of it you want Tschernenko opposing Coleman. Those two sound like extreme opposites. In regard to drugs: I can get you most of the street stuff within the hour if you want to knock out Whitman and make it look like some floozy put one over her john.
What I have on hand would be roadstrip ejectors - the electric frying type.
Oh and for that Crow guy: I've got a small stash of 25 year old whiskey. Lacing that with some potent narcotic would be a sin, but for the cause maybe excusable."
