Whoa.  That first picture.  My eye is immediately drawn to the guy banging on the door, and almost glanced over the guy jumping out of the window as a result.  The effect achieved by that was unnerving.

He's jumping back out the window.  Notice all the glass on the floor.  The window was broken from the outside.

I'm not sure. All the glass is very close to the window and there is not nearly enough of it. My gut impression is it was hit hard from inside, and most of it went out, but then the glass rebounded inwards after the impact, and some came loose and dropped down at low velocity, hence why there is a small amount and close to the window.
